The Blue Raiders are excited to announce their 2023 baseball schedule. The team will play 56 games, including 28 home games at Reese Smith Jr. Field. The season will begin on Friday, February 17th, with a three-game series against the Lipscomb Bisons. The Blue Raiders will then open their home schedule on February 22nd with a three-game series against the Morehead State Eagles.
Some of the highlights of the 2023 schedule include:
- A three-game series against the Vanderbilt Commodores on March 10th-12th.
- A three-game series against the Tennessee Volunteers on March 31st-April 2nd.
- A three-game series against the UAB Blazers on April 14th-16th.
- A three-game series against the Florida Atlantic Owls on May 5th-7th.
- A three-game series against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on May 12th-14th.
The Blue Raiders will also play a number of midweek games against non-conference opponents, including games against the Belmont Bruins, the Lipscomb Bisons, and the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
The Blue Raiders are coming off a successful 2022 season, in which they finished with a 36-22 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2018. The team is hoping to build on that success in 2023 and make a run at the Conference USA championship.
